9:00 Daffodil Show
  • 9:00am - 10:30am Show entries received (no entry fee required)
  • 10:30am—11:30am Judging and Daffodil Show (open after the judging)
Ribbons will be given to first, second, and third place winners in each category. A gift certificate will be presented for Best of Show. The show will be held in Bell Buckle Town Hall. Categories are as follows:
  1. A single Daffodil (in a clear glass container)
  2. Daffodil Collection
  3. Daffodil Arrangement
  4. Youth Award


11:00 Arbor Day Ceremony
Presentation of the Tree City USA Award to the Town of Bell Buckle honoring the 7th year the town has attained this status and presentation of Tree Line USA to Duck River Electric honoring their 4th year to attain this status. There will be a short ceremony on the painted quilt.
• Arbor Day Foundation Poster Contest winners from Cascade School will be recognized.
• Bell Buckle Citizen of the Year will be announced.

11:30 Announcement of Contest Winners
• Daffodil Show winners will be announced and ribbons will be awarded

12:00 Kite Flying (Bell Buckle Park)
• Kite flying at the Park--bring your kite and master the skies!

Enjoy the celebration of spring all day with special clogging performances. Phillips General Store Spring Open House, and new Spring merchandise on display at all Bell Buckle Shops!

Free tree seedlings from the Tennessee Urban Forestry
Division will be available all day on the square.


Memorial Tree Purchasing Information
Anyone interested in purchasing a tree in memory of or to honor of someone special may do so by contacting Bell Buckle Tree Board member Florence Hall at 931-389-9325. The cost of a tree is $125 which includes purchasing, planting and labeling the tree plus an engraved brick marker to be set at the site. The tree and planting site will be selected by the Bell Buckle Tree Board. A list of appropriate tree species for planting at the Bell Buckle Park is listed below.
