Art & Craft Show

October 20-21, 2007

The 31th Annual Webb School Art & Craft Show will be held on October 20 and 21, 2007, on The Webb School campus at the Sawney lot on Maple Street in historic Bell Buckle, Tennessee. The show averages approximately 80,000 shoppers for the entire weekend featuring over 132 booths highlighting high quality, hand crafted work by individual craft artists.

ELIGIBILITY AND JURYING

  1. All work exhibited and sold at The Webb School Art & Craft Show must be original and must be designed and constructed by the exhibiting artist. Absolutely no sale or resale of commercial or manufactured items will be permitted. An exhibitor whose work is challenged as to authenticity will be required to prove it was made in his/her own studio before being allowed to apply for future shows.
  2. Selection is made on the basis of three recent photos or slides representative of the artist’s or craftsperson’s work. Jurying will be based on the photos and description of the work on the application. PRINT YOUR NAME CLEARLY ON EACH PHOTOGRAPH/SLIDE. Photos/slides will be returned in Vendor Packets at the Show. Booth fees will be returned to non-accepted applicants minus the application fee.
  3. Applications and photos/slides will be judged on quality, creativity, and originality.

EXHIBITOR SPACE AND FEES

Booth locations will be available on a priority basis to returning exhibitors as long as applications are received by the August 1, 2007, deadline. All other booth spaces will be available on a first come/first serve basis. Every effort will be made to place exhibitors with similar art mediums in non-competing locations.

Returning exhibitors should clearly mark if they are requesting the same booth as last year. The show layout will be changed slightly this year to allow more room between booths and more access from the street area into the show. Every effort will be made to make the booth assignment as near as possible to last year’s location.

A non-refundable application fee of $30.00 on a separate check must accompany the application.

Booth fees are as follows:
Standard Booth (12 x 12) $165.00
Double Booth (12 x 24) $325.00
End of row corner booths (if available) for any size booth must add $50.00 to above.

Make checks payable to the Bell Buckle Chamber of Commerce

The booth fee must be on a separate check.
